1937 DKW SB500 (SOLD)
Here we have a 1937 DKW SB500. This motorcycle is one of the more rare DKW's out there. It is a SB500 with Dynastart. This is an electric start bike with two pistons and a two stroke.
Currently in the USA I know of less than 3 of these bikes. Like all DKW motorcycles, parts are available for them so this is not a problem. This motorcycle has probably 90% of the correct parts on it and missing very little. It is a great project bike and will make a classic when restored. The motorcycle has the original motor in it and retains all of the correct frame and engine numbers. It also has the original SP10 dual coil box. From the fenders to frame, so many original parts. The motor has great compression and does run and will require some work still. The transmission shifts into all gears and with ease, no issues at all. The motorcycle has great potential and has never seen Poland or Russia, loads of original RIBE and Verbus bolts on the bike, a true classic. Some items are missing but all in all its all there.
If you want a rare classic motorcycle, this is the bike.
